GRATITUDE

Seems to be the word of the month for me.  First we were blessed posthumously by Noel Evans, then our friends at St. Edmund's by the Sea, led by Father Gorman dedicated a "penny jar" to our program during Lent.  Penny jar indeed, with more folding money than any jar I have ever seen. What a generous outpouring of love and support from the "little church that can" and DOES.  Yesterday we received both a handsome grant from ZETA GAMMA chapter of SIGMA THETA TAU, the professional nurses fraternity and a generous donation from Doctor Duffy.  The Resident Assistants at Springhill College had a 50/50 drawing at their St Patty's day party the deal was a split pot with one winning student and a charity, this year it was 15 Place.  Emily Allen a sophomore won and donated her share of the pot to us  I mention all of these generous people to reassure both you, the reader and myself that there are many folks here in Mobile who actually get it.  You know how much your support means to the poorest of the poor.  Thank You, not only do you help us stay open you help us stay HOPEFUL
